OBAL has done it again! We partnered with Safeway and Beebe Memorial Cathedral to provide thanksgiving food baskets to 32 needy families this morning.
Safeway provided us with the turkeys and a $250 Safeway gift card. OBAL contributed additional funds and purchased corn, green beans, stuffing, cranberry sauce, and corn bread . Beebe donated yams, gravy, macaroni and cheese, cake mix, and frosting.
Thank you to Link sisters Christina Saddler, Jackie Boggan, Denise Smith, Jessica Hebert, and Theresa Clincy who volunteered to pick up the groceries and organize the baskets. And thank you to Joe and Art from Beebe who helped set up the baskets.
Thank you to Link Sheelah Hogg for working out the logistics with Beebe.
