Celebration of Excellence is an opportunity for high achieving high school seniors in Alameda and Contra Costa counties to earn college scholarships. Since the 1990s, the Oakland Bay Area Links have recognized and rewarded high achieving young men and women.
A huge thank you and round of applause to the Chairs of COE, Links Michele Davenport and Denise Eaton-May and their entire committee for a wonderful program yesterday. The room was filled with love and excitement for our scholars and their families. Our very own Heir-O-Link, Karen Monroe, who is Alameda County’s Superintendent of Schools gave the keynote address.
